Clovis News-Journal Day 18
It was rough getting up for an 8am assignment. I left work at 12:30 the previous night and had been on the go since 8am that morning. Most of the day was spent feature hunting. So it was a nice change of pace from elecction day.
Yo, dog! That top photo looks WAY different than the printed photo. I like the printed crop better, I think. It comes in tighter on the stars, cutting the right-side off, and centers the guy. Also, the colors in the printed version are so monotone and muted and strange... they look like a 20-year-old polaroid or something. Very cool. The original looks nice, too, but I was struck by how unusual the printed one appears (minus the magenta-tinted wall). Good stuff, my man. Was this posed or was it candid or was it pseudo-candid? It doesn't look like anything you've ever posed before, so my assumption is that it's not. If this is you using the natural environment, then you just fucking put your foot in the ass of this picture and declared ownership. p0wnership, even.
